Process Steps:

1. Plug your external power supply into the port located below the power button. The indicator will illuminate. 
2. Then press the power button; the indicator flashes red when heating is underway. 
3. After the water reaches the appropriate brewing temperature, the pump turns on, and the indicator flashes blue until brewing is complete. The light will turn solid blue.

NOTE: To brew with two AAA batteries, add the desired temperature hot water and K-Cup. Press and hold the power button for 3 seconds. The pump will turn on, and brewing will ensue. The indicator flashes blue until the brew cycle is complete. Please note that AAA batteries will not heat water. Do not reheat brewed coffee in the container. This will burn the liquid in the bottom of the brewer. Drink from the brewer spout.
